Background on Elise Ronquest, Managing Director
Elise started her career in the recruitment industry in 1997 working for various agencies across the following areas of specialisation – permanent placements, contract appointments, temporary and project management recruitment. She was also extremely fortunate to have worked for one of South Africa’s leading job portals for many years, further enhancing her knowledge and understanding of this industry and the services.
Over this period, she held various positions from Recruitment Consultant, Client Relationship Manager, Key Account Manager, Business Unit Manager, Regional Sales Manager to Corporate Relations Manager, thus providing a holistic understanding of the operational functions and processes of recruitment, and the different service level requirements and expectations from both the recruiter and the employer.
After managing an Outplacement Programme for nearly 3 years, she realised how important and the value, a job readiness assistance programme can make to a job seeker when approaching the job market, by simply providing guidance and tools. Therefore, with the knowledge gained, and her passion about people to assist job seekers in this area, Career Management Consulting was born to deliver value and create upliftment and encouragement particularly for individuals who are displaced through redundancy /retrenchment or struggling to find employment. With a daughter that recently joined the working world and a son who is enjoying his 1st year of varsity life, she understands on a personal level the challenges and need for job readiness support.
